Happy Halloween, Children


I enjoy seeing children Trick or Treating in groups & with parents, on Halloween. While hopefully this is all about not really being scared, when a child or teen has fears or phobias (strong, irrational fears), it can be an uncomfortable time. I use Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), also called Tapping, to help my young clients overcome fears & phobias of all types. Parents, if your child/teen has been suffering with this problem, I can help!



Here are some suggestions many parents find useful for their children with fears and phobias:


  • Talk with your child about his/her anxieties, and be sympathetic. Explain that many children have fears, but with your support (s)he can learn to manage them.

  • Do not belittle or ridicule your child's fears, particularly in front of family members or friends.

  • Do not coerce your youngster into being brave; it will take some time to gradually overcome anxieties.

  • Ask for help- A Mindful Approach is only a text, email or phone call away!
